Over the course of the past two weeks, the British Council and with the support of Berytech, organized a workshop entitled FROM START UP TO SUCCESS: A CREATIVE entrepreneur’s PLAN. The workshops were led by Sarah Thelwall, founder of, who has been working with creative entrepreneurs for over a decade as a consultant, business development coach and trainer. And Percy Emmett – NESTA’s lead Creative Industries trainer, coach and mentor. The workshop combined the methodology from NESTA’s Insight Out programme toolkit with’s Market Day marketing training.

How many passwords do you have to remember? How do you remember your passwords? Do you use the same password for all your accounts?

We have lots of passwords to remember: our personal emails, our Facebook accounts, twitter accounts, our work email accounts, some FTP accounts and much more.  We all know we should use different passwords for each account because if we use only one password everywhere and someone gets this password we have  a serious problem. How Do You Manage Your eBooks?

Most of us have eBooks stored on our computers or on our tablets (iPad, Galaxy tab, Kindle…). With our collection growing it will be hard to find a certain eBook. Personally I classify my eBooks by topics in subdirectories but I still can’t find what I am searching for easily and that’s why I needed a better solution.

Best Free Software of 2011

Like every year published a list of the best freeware apps. Freeware is software that is totally free. Freeware can be open or closed source so freeware is different than “free and open source source software” aka FOSS (in the latter you will have access to the source code of the software if you would like to customize it your way). Lot of freeware  applications provide a good alternative to commercial software thus helping small businesses do lot of savings by implementing the use of such utilities.
